Catch Up

I say this every time I post another thing, but wow it's been a long time! I am just going to update what's been going on in my life and stuff. I finished my first year of high school so I will be a sophomore this upcoming year! It is summertime baby! I was 15 and a half on June 12 so now I am officially old enough to drive! But my parents have to sign me up for the class still. My mom says she doesn't want me to get my license before winter because she doesn't want me driving in the snow and stuff. She cares about me! Yes! Haha but I can't wait for that day. Next week is EFY at Bloomington university in Indiana. I'm excited I'm going with my friend Emily and we are rooming together. Then the week after efy is girls camp! I'm am stoked! I just hope that the heat will not be suicidal like it has been the last few years. This is my last year before being a YCL. I'm sad about that but it will be good. Happy summer 2012 everyone! :D

Ward Potlock/Dessert Auction/Service Auction...

Tonight our ward had a potluck and a Dessert/Service auction for our youth to help pay for camps and such this year. Everybody brought a dessert or multiple to auction off. Some sold up to 80 dollars!! It was super fun. Us youth would stand up in front of everyone holding the dessert and the ward would bid on it. The youth could also offer service. They wrote down what they were willing to offer and members could sign up to pay them for the service. I think we are having one of the YM teach us some first aid. Our family made 3 cakes. An Oreo cake with white frosting and Oreo's on the outside decorated. Then we make a peanut butter cake, and a Kit Kat cake. That was the best! It was a chocolate cake w/ chocolate frosting and Kit Kats surrounding the outside with M&M's on the top. It was amazing looking..:)It was a super fun night!!

Spring Break

Mom told me to make a new blog post. This week has been spring break. My brother and sister have friends over pretty much everyday from about noon to 6 or so. And me? I slept in till' 1030ish, stayed in my pajamas till about 1 or so. Exciting right??? haha no not really.

Washington D.C 2011

A few weeks ago, my class got the chance to go to Washington D.C and Gettysburg for a trip. It was super fun. We left on the 15 of March on a tour bus @ 930pm. We watched a movie and about midnight we slept until 430 when we stopped at a rest stop to dress for the day and put on makeup and what not. We went to the White House first. And yes I took a lot of pictures that I will have to try to get up here. After that day we checked in at a Marriott Hotel which was fun. Except for the elevator part. That was kind of scary. We went to a bunch of memorials and went to Arlington National Cemetery and watched some of the kids in my class lay the wreathe on The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. That was pretty cool. We went to a souvenir shop also where I got a purple sweatshirt with Washington dc on the left sleeve and Washington on the front in zebra letters. It was soft and warm....until I washed it:(( Now it is stiff and not soft anymore. Anyways it was an awesome trip and if i ever got the chance to go back I definitely would. Well this is my first official post! Of my second blog...haha

New Blog

Hello Everyone! Well it's been a looonnng time since I even looked at my old blog. It was so outdated, and not me anymore, so I decided to make a new one! I still have a lot of work to do on this one but I will be better at keeping up with this one!
